Meet Our Eye Doctor, Sophia Awadia, serving Lawrence Park & Midtown Toronto:
Dr. Sophia Awadia is the founder and lead optometrist of Yonge Eyes Optometry and Vision Therapy in Toronto, ON. She was born and raised in the East Coast of Canada. She holds a masters degree in Vision Science and a Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo. Dr. Awadia is an associate of the Optometry Extension Program Foundation, a member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, and a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. She is a published author on myopia research and has given numerous talks and presentations to schools, local groups and other health professionals.
Dr. Awadia likes to run, snowboard and spend time with her two children exploring Toronto.
